Audio gd presents its state-of-the-art transport, the CD7SE. The CD7SE has multiple power
transformers, low jitter circuitry, SONY DVD laser assembly, 64MB memory for buffering and DSP
processing. The Audio gd 7SE comes with a robust remote and sleep function.
One of the few transports to apply an advanced attention to detail, the Audio gd 7SE uses the advanced
SONY DVD laser assembly that has been engineered for outstanding error recovery, DSP functionality
and 64MB of buffer memory. Audio gd has re-designed the transport so the main board CPU has the
compute power of an Intel Pentium processor as opposed to other transport CPUs that has the
processing power of a 1980s 286 processor.
The build quality is top notch. The Dual + 1 power supply has multiple independent shielding of power
transformers for supplying laser assembly, coaxial output circuit, DSP and clock circuit. To further
reduce intermodulation distortion, the chassis is made of pure aluminum alloy weighing some 30lbs!
The output section of the CD 7SE is engineered to perfection. Instead of using the common IC
approach to S/PDIF output, the CD 7SE uses "Current Digital Transmission" which Audio gd perfected,
to drive a very low jitter output.
The Audio gd CD 7SE comes with remote, power cord, full CD playback functionality and new low
interference digital output screen.
