Pacific Valve Mood Lab Concept Zero Sampling DAC
Product Details
From Mood Lab comes an affordable zero sampling DAC called the Concept. The
Concept uses the same Phillips TDA1543 DAC architecture as the DICE except it does
not have USB capability.
The Concept has the same dynamics and resolve as the Dice and it that respect has the
sense of vinyl realism. The deep bass response and the "see-through" midrange makes
the Concept suitable in systems costing over 10K yet will upgrade any system less than
he could achieve his goal of assembling a system of less than $2500 used the Concept.
The Concept takes Toslink and Coax as inputs and outputs RCA unbalanced. The
Concept accepts sampling frequencies of up to 96kHz and comes with a 110/220v
converter to the required 12vDC
