Pacific Valve ShengYa A17
Product Details
From Shengya, comes the A10CS’ little brother, the A17.  The A 17 is a 100 watt per
channel hybrid integrated amplifier with the first 10 watts biased in class A.  The A17
comes with bass and treble controls, loudness control, tone defeat and soft start.  The
remote selects the four inputs and adjusts volume.

The preamplifier section is driven by 3 12AX7 tubes with one 12AU7 as the cathode buffer
– yielding its rich expansive sound.  The warm and smooth transients and vocals, a 6J4
rectifier (tube window) is employed in the power supply. As you look inside the Shengya
A17, you will notice quality that is unheard of at this price point. Rubycon and WIMA caps,
Toshiba output transistors and dual voltage regulators. The power supply section
contains the signature Shengya beefy power transformer serving voltage to the
preamplifier and amplifier sections that are separated by steel chassis gates.

Over all, the Shengya A17 has a rich warm sound, yet has the damping factor to drive
even the most troubling of speaker loads.
