If you need an amp that sounds like a tube amp, but do not have the $$ to stretch, then
look no further. The Yulong AMP ONE is a 40 watt per channel amplifier with a smooth
tube sound and plenty of head room to spare. The amp has one set of inputs and
speaker jacks, a volume control on the front of the panel, power switch and IEC power
cord. The amp can be also be used as an integrated amp with one input.
Yulong engineers unwound the National 4780 that gave the previous amplifier, the
AMP4780, its unique tube-like sound. The reasons for doing this was to extract more of
the music from the input source, yet still provide the amazing stability of the 4780. Yulong
engineers in picking discrete components, were able to tailor the sound for a more
detailed tube like presentation.
The Yulong AMP ONE has extremely low noise running at 2 μV noise floor, the distortion
is very low in the 0.001 to 0.003dB levels at normal to high power levels. As you move up
the THD scale the levels go up just like they would in any amplifier. They tend to slew
around 18 to 19V/μs.
The Yulong AMP One is in a compact box, 180（L）X 250（W）X 55（H）mm and
weighs approximately 11 lbs in its shipping carton.
